The Author

Kyra R. Burnett is an indie author and 27-year-old ​school counselor in Northern West Virginia. Writing ​in a variety of ways since the age of 14, poems and ​blogs were her most popular works until she finally ​made the decision to jump and write an entire ​novel. Her favorite fantasy fiction worlds, such as ​the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Harry Potter ​series, are a big inspiration to her work. Solar ​Keepers was the beginning of Burnett's idea after ​losing a parent, which she turned into a ​therapeutic outlet and a lesson for others.
